Managing company vehicles

Managing company vehicles can be a very emotive process that requires careful management and needs a firm, but sensitive approach.

Using the Gain Solutions Vehicle Management System (VMS) we manage the employee’s vehicle from ordering through to hand over and all operational aspects during the life cycle of the vehicle (Vehicle Administration). After the qualifying mileage or time is reached, we co-ordinate the vehicle return and present the replacement.

The returned vehicle is inspected either at the home of the driver or at a designated location by a Gains Solutions Inspector and managed through the de-fleet process into the appropriate remarketing channel, with whichever refurbishment provider the client wishes to use.

An effective company vehicle programme has to deliver a high quality, time efficient service to the employee. It also has to benefit the fleet owner by minimising operational processing times and costs so maximizing the eventual residual value of the vehicle.
